Preshot routine
John - Thank you for your participation here on LBG. It's most appreciated.

I would like to ask how conscious you are about TGM concepts such as planeline tracing, pressure points, hingeaction, extensoraction, aiming point etc., during your setup, preshot routine and waggle?

control the process
for me personally my pre shot routine includes all of this.i like to think of it as controlling the process.then the results will follow.3-f-5 is my foundation to hitting every shot i play.my process for every shot is as follows

1 after gathering all information for shot reguired,i then determine the hinge action for such shot
2 address i go through impact alignments, personally i do not think in terms of pressure points, they just happen naturally for me through experience,i am lucky to have enough past data to recall feel on short shot with wedges
3 once i have my impact alignments,i am ready,my waggle for me is a result of the shot i am playing (ex. low punch into the wind, will be a shorter waggle that has more pressure in number 3 pressure point) remember this is just a feel i have not saying this is the correct procedure for anyone else.
4now that i am ready to go my only thought is to get my right hand shoulder high, this is my only thought for the golf swing.avery good example is to practice with the dowel rods.look at theevideo by yoda,he explains this very nicely.mr.kelly always said look look to learn feel,he is 100% correct.

thanks for the fast reply
I have a couple of additional questions:

- Do you waggle behind or over the ball?
- Is planelinetracing part of your waggle, or is it something you only practice with dowels?
- Extensor action: is it consciously applied, or practised and become a unconscious part of your swing?
- I assume from your answer that you're using shoulder-turn take-away and not right forearm take-away, is that correct?
