He's advertising that his long rumored book may come out this year.

Dang! And y'all think the little yellow book is a tough read. Wait till this one comes out...

Study up on your geometry so you can read objectively between the samenesses and the differences...by degree.

It will be an interesting read and hopefully Mac does a good job of standing on Homers shoulders. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

i will say i have no idea as to how the book will be written. but i will say mac is a very good comunicater and presents all his material in a very understandable way although you do leave him with an increased vocabulary

Bantamben,

You come across as one who has spent time with Mac and I believe you. I haven't and am only speculating.
But I do hope he has added in a significant way. One's life work certainly deserves it's place in the sun.

That said, I've only studied TGM for 5 years and still have a long way to go in mastering Homer work, let alone the additive materials. Lynn and the Pro's on this board still blow me away.
If you left with an increased vocabularly, then perhaps it is likely Mac is not only well read, but also smarter than the average Armadillo. Great communicators have that trait. I don't know Mac, but I know Lynn.

i have never doubted macs information or explanations they have always been clear and understandable and backed up by demonstration. alot of people doubt macs book will ever come out, will it ever im not sure, i do know he wanted it to be right and complete and that is why it has takin so long for him. but anyways i do know of another golf writer that took i think 28 years to right his book and im sure homer probably also always thought he was close to it being finished.

You've been 'lurking' for just over a year now, cpwindow4, and we appreciate this first post. Keep'em coming!

And you bet...

You're in the "right spot!"
