Drag Your Wet Mop
Well, I'm still in a 'how to upload video' training mode with Bagger. Here's another clip that was never intended to see the light of day, but lo, it now has. Just a little something that demonstrates how to 'Drag Your Wet Mop' through Impact. Again, I apologize in advance for the audio. I had no external microphone and no intent to deliver any detailed instruction. The main benefit lies in the visual demonstration.

I start with a little 'Chip-Pitch' going to the end of the Follow-Through (Both Arms Straight position). Then I move out into little Cut Shots, first without a Finish Swivel and then with one. Then into some 'max layback' Cut and Lob shots. The dominant features are the Flat Left Wrist, the Fix position of the Body, and the Right Forearm Pickup. You'll see. Just click on http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/gallery/files/DragMop.wmv or visit The Gallery under the Lynn Blake section.

Yoda,

This is just great...love the tempo and unhurried pace of the shots. I could watch this all the day long.

Now, how about some full swings with the driver, fairway woods and irons???

Fo' Swivel
Nice work! Thanks for sharing!

Question: Why does Swivel make you hit the ball higher?

Thanks!

Thanks for putting these up. Even without words the pictures speak for themselves. And thank you, BAGGER, for helping Yoda with the "basic motion curriculum" of uploading video!! Short segments like these are great. Thanks to both of you! Dr Dave

Hmmm...Bagger left this morning, but I've got some of this same practice sesssion where I go back as far as 65 yards. There is also a down-the-line view. I'll see if I can get it up tomorrow all by myself. Don't hold your breath!

A mop for bucket
Bucket - I'm gunna smack you with a wet mop in a minute...Max lag pressure.

Ask Yoda - I'm standing on his balance ball, weighted club, impact bag. Bang!..."good...again"...BANG!!! "Uh Bagger, those things can break you know..."

Ask Yodasluke - His quote on the 12 tee yesterday, "Bagger! Why in the hell would you ever want to swing???"

I'm never far.

Hey what does the balance ball do? That sounds like it could hurt. You were making swings on a balance ball? NOW I WANNA SEE THAT VIDEO!

It's great! It's a saucer-shaped balance ball that you stand on. Has a flat base and it's inflated about 10 inches above ground. Big enough to take a stance, grab a club, and swing. Yoda had me stand on it, take a weighted club, swing into an impact bag while looking into a full size mirror.

With his new video skills, Yoda could do a video in his practice room and post it up.

But I'll bet Yoda hasn't tried it in cowboy boots yet. I think I have the honor of being the first.
