Lynn Blake UK Schedule / July 6-26, 2009
Here are the tentative plans:

I'll be landing in Glasgow on Monday, July 6, and will spend the week at the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomand. I will spend Tuesday, the 7th, with Brian Gay, and I am already scheduled for private instruction Wednesday, the 8th. My schedule later in the week will revolve around BG and how well he plays. I do not plan on being available for the weekend!

The same is true the following week (of the 13th) during The Open Championship at Turnberry. I know all this sounds rather 'iffy' -- and it is -- but that's the way these first two weeks must be. The tournaments and my player are the priority the first two weeks. If I can teach without compromising that priority, I will. Otherwise, I cannot.

The main instructional week begins Monday, the 20th, in Glasgow. I will teach there through Wednesday, the 22nd. Then, it's off to London for three days teaching Thursday-Saturday (23-25). All locations will be at World of Golf facilities http://www.worldofgolf-uk.co.uk/ (Glasgow http://www.worldofgolf-uk.co.uk/driving+ranges/glasgow and New Malden http://www.worldofgolf-uk.co.uk/driv...ges/new+malden. These days will be a series of mini-schools lasting either a half-day or a full-day, each with very limited participation (no more than four per class). There will also be the opportunity for private instruction. In all instances, I will be the sole instructor.

Pricing and other details will be available shortly. Meanwhile, please PM me your interest and preferred location, date and format. Thanks!

Dear Yoda,

I think you shall think of visiting China...one of our friends, a GSEM is now working in Mission Hill as kind of Sport Director....that will be a great place to hold G.O.L.F. lessons.

I imagine Yoda is making his way to the airport, final packing anyway!

Scotland in the summer means you need; Shorts, Tee shirts, trousers, jumpers, scarfs, wet gear, under armour!!!

4 seasons in one day was never more appropriate in the bonny banks area!!

I have not received any further communique on the trip. I had hoped to attend the school in Glasgow but need to know more details if it is to happen.

Flights or boat has to be booked as well as time off work. If anyone gets a chance to send more details via the site or PM please do so or I might not make it

Yoda In the UK / Private and Group Instruction Rates
Thanks to all my UK friends who have expressed interest in working with me during the week July 20-25. I am now safely down in Glasgow and checked into my hotel at Loch Lomand.

The next two weeks will revolve around the Barclays Scottish Open and The Open Championship. Then, on Monday, the 20th, I will begin teaching in Glasgow. The demand in Glasgow will determine the number of days I spend in London. I expect the London sessions to begin no later than Thursday, the 24th. For various reasons, probably the best format is simply to schedule private lessons and offer discounts if students combine together.

My base rate per hour will be 140 GSB for the first student. This is my normal rate (92 GSB) and a 50 percent premium to cover my additional expenses and facilities fees. Each subsequent student will receive a 50 percent discount, i.e., 70 GSB, which will lower the cost for each member of the group. For example, two students will have a combined fee of 210 GSB (or 105 each, a discount of 35 GSB, or 25 percent, off the full private rate. A third student would generate a total hourly rate of 280, or about 93 pounds each, about 33 percent off the private rate. I envision most private lessons to average between 1-2 hours and most group sessions to average 2-4 hours. However, these are merely estimates; no doubt some private and group students will prefer even more time.

For those interested in my personal instruction and who do not want the expense of a trip to the U.S., this is a cost-effective and time-effective way to get it. Please PM me your desired location, date and number of hours. Also, whether or not you would combine with others. Thanks!

Southern students?
Hi Folks

Anyone southern UK based, who is looking to work with Mr. Blake during his time in London that might like to make up a student group of two or three with me?

I'm hoping he's not completely inundated already, but if not I imagine we'll have to move fast!

PM me?

Many thanks

Rob Murphy
