Would it be true to say that golfer's often don't think about where the bottom of the shaft passes at impact. Should'nt the the bottom of the shaft be inside the ball at impact, the shaft or plain line. Therefore the clubhead and ball are outside of this shaft line. I have been working on being aware of the bottom tip of the shaft passing the ball on the inside and getting very clean strikes. I can find no reference to this anywhere except: Hebron's Golf secrets and lies (only a small reference but very definite). Perhaps it's related to the hands lane in TGM.
Has anyone any thoughts on this (not too technical re TGM please)
A dowel is a piece of wood you can get from a home depot type of place. They usually come in varying lengths and are round, like a cylinder. We use them as guides for impact positions and plane stuff. The advantage is they are small, light, and you can have them run up your arms instead of just ending in your hands.
if you go to the home page and look at some of the picturs of Yoda you'll see him using the dowels
