I assume the sweetspot plane is the line from the sweetspot to the shaft.

Your comment is fine, Patrick, as far as it goes. The Sweet Spot Plane isindeed partially defined by that invisible Line of Forceconnecting the Sweet Spot and the Shaft, specifically that aft-Shaft,Right Forefinger point of contact known to G.O.L.F.ers as the #3 PressurePoint (6-C-1-#3).
However, depending on the Impact Fix alignment of that Dynamic Duo, the RightForearm and #3 Pressure Point -- a.k.a. the Right Forearm Flying Wedge(6-B-3-0-1) -- that Line of Force must be extended "through thewaist" (see Glossary / Inclined Plane) to accomodate (andcategorize for reference) the entire selected Plane of Motion (2-F). Andlikewise, its Variation should the Player be unable or unwilling toadhere to that same Plane throughout the Stroke (7-7).
That extension will tilt the Plane Angle (rotate it about its Base Line)to coincide with any one of the five Plane Angle reference pointsdefined and discussed in 10-6.
The selected Variation(s) then will define the Sweet Spot Inclined Planeof Motionfrom Impact Fix (8-2) through the BothArms Straight Position at the end of the Follow-Through (8-11).
