Drag the wet mop exercise
Is the "drag the wet mop" exercise the SAME feeling as what both Fred Couples and Ben Hogan are describing when they say after release that they HIT HARD and AS HARD AS THEY CAN at this point. Is it an effort to prevent the decelation of the hands through impact? Is it a continuation of accumulator #4 for swingers and #1 for hitters? Is PP#3 still just sensing lag? Please describe your feel for this exercise and where the pressures are felt and carried through. There is a "wet mop" thread in fundamantals and I have watched the video clip Many times but the actual feel is not clear because , as I understand, pp#3 is NEVER used to force anything and only sense so the force must come from elsewhere like #4 or #1 accumulator. It is easy to look like the video clip but if the feeling is not correct then the exercise is being done wrong.
Thanks
The Bear
