Where In The World Are LBG Members?

Click on the link below and see where your many friends at LBG live and play the game. 'Left-click and drag' the screen and use the controls to zoom in and out and 'roundabout. Don't forget our South Sea folk and those near the top of the world as well. Click on a cyber-buddy's name on the list at the right of the page to locate them. Or, go exploring by clicking on the little icons to see who lives there. Be sure to add your name and a brief comment by clicking on the Add Yourself link at the right of the page.

There is a nice picture I took of Lynn and Ben from Canton there too.

Thanks, Mike. C'mon guys, let's do it. Sign in now and be sure to add a comment -- I just did -- your turn! Let us know who you are and where you are and how you feel about TGM and LBG. As Homer would say, this will be a "ball of fun"!

Hey, guys. See that sliver of a marker just behind 6bee's? Click on it: It's stilltrying from Pinebush, N.Y., USA!

6bmike 12-08-2005 09:01 PM

Lynn, if you use the scale guide on the left it zeros in you the map and spreads out the markers. Now you look further away, LOL

Yoda 12-08-2005 09:02 PM

Hey, Doug. I see you out there in Irvine, California, USA. What's this LFF stuff? Didn't you mean RFF W(edge)?

Cool...use that + button. Also, drag that map! That's map, not mop! [Sorry, couldn't resist.] You can drag that map all the way to New Zealand!

Mike, I am no longer 'beside myself'! Ah, but I am...

About this idea!

Yoda 12-08-2005 09:14 PM

Call to arms!

Compda (Singapore); Vikram (India); Metallion and Henning (Sweden); Mathew (Scotland); Mark (Germany); Hue, Burner and Ian (England); Tongzilla (Hong Kong / London); Tgmer (Hong Kong); Golfguru and Oztrainee (Australia). Let's fill out that world map! And Geoffb...where are you? There's a New Zealand in here somewhere!

Swingnorthtosouth (New York). :)

And all you other USA folk...

Stake your claim!

6bmike 12-08-2005 09:17 PM

Lynn got googled! LOL I better not tell him about Google Earth or we will never see him again for a few weeks. :D

Whoops busted by Captain Green....

How about Looking For Food?

Problem with this coast is, we don't have Cracker Barrel, The Big Chicken, or Waffle House.

I am a 4th generation Californian but recently moved to Texas. On the west coast, The Original Pancake House and In-N-Out Burger are popular places to eat. Also in the San Francisco area, Max's is a great place to have a meal.

Bagger Lance 12-08-2005 10:17 PM

ChrisNZ,

According to the map, the par four from my tee box in Texas to your Island green looks pretty tough. A good drive puts me into a fairway bunker in Africa (Sahara I think), then a tough approach shot into NZ. Hope the green isn't too undulating...

It's classic risk/reward Bagger, sustain the lag, compress it like crazy, and you can knock the ball right into tomorrow!

Yoda 12-08-2005 11:16 PM

ChrisNZ,

I knew we had a New Zealander -- Campbell Country! -- in there. And maybe more!

Yoda 12-08-2005 11:19 PM

C'mon guys...add a little something under your signature. We want just a hint of 'who you are!'

Hope to see our Scandinavian gang claim a spot on the map overnight. And Australia.

I'm glad you liked it Lynn- just trying to cheer ya up a little.

nite all.

Yoda 12-09-2005 01:11 AM

I see you, Stephanie and Lee. California's next door to Georgia on this map!

And 'hi', too, to my friend Drew 'I do-well with my dow-els' Chapman, PGA Professional in Massachusetts, USA. Not much green up there now, is there, Drew?

Of course, efnef, just up the road in North Carolina, Homerson up further still in Maryland and rchang digging out of the Cinci' snow, all are keepin' the faith. EdStraker is hangin' out with my buddy Bagger in that great state of TEXAS.

And Bambam in Indy just had a baby!

What a wonderful LBG World!

SwingNorthtoSouth 12-09-2005 01:24 AM

Okay I am in. Love the map!!!!!

Nice job Mike.........:D

I see me, there are 3 from NC. I'm the furthest East.

Don't forget you can adjust the view of the map with the white picket scale on the left. You get tighten the view from world to country to city to STREET if you care to- it goes by zip code.

Glad you guys like it.

My favorite pancake servings were the 49er flapjacks and the Georgia Pecan pancakes. My wife loves the creme that is served with the coffee. The only creme she likes better is the clotted creme from Devon County in the Southwestern part of England.

ChrisNZ 12-09-2005 04:38 PM

To my Australian friend...

Hey Nevermind, I just spotted your comment on the map and thought I better point out the Rugby (1 from 9 was it?), the Rugby League (NZ 24 - Aust 0), the netball (NZ 61 - Aust 36). And how many Australians won Majors this year? Sure you guys can play cricket, although for a professional Brett Lee sure has the ball 'slip out of his hand' a lot... but the Ashes, well, even I'm not that cruel.:)

There is a script to add a version of this map to our site. Looks like one of those must-have features.
We'll look into it. Thanks Mike for link. Very :cool: :cool:

Code:

<script>
var frappr_mapheight = 600;
var frappr_mapwidth = 600;
var frappr_maplat = 40.98;
var frappr_maplon = -98.14;
var frappr_mapzoom = 16;
var frappr_host = "http://www.frappr.com/";var gid = 62565;</script>
<script src="http://www.frappr.com/ajax/mapwidget.js"></script>

You see, there you go. Throwing you kiwi's a bone was my good deed for the year. I mean, it's not as if you usually have much to celebrate :p ;)

We'll be back :cry:

6bmike 12-09-2005 09:39 PM

very cool

Very cool Bagger ! I see we are very East Coast Centric.

This will make it easy when we set up for the regional Blake Cup Tournament to see who wins the Hinge Board Trophey for the year.
