Here's a group photo of our last adventure, taken on the first tee of Atlanta CC just before we teed off in an LBG outing during Masters week 2008. Getting a match isn't the problem. But, after the match they always want to have a tea party and discuss everyone's feelings on the outcome of the match. :sick:

I prefer the 16 ounce filet while watching extreme fighting. &C

I have watched some of your videos and am trying to understand the picture below. Can you please explain this as it doesnt look like anything I see the players on Tour doing. As a beginner, I am unsure what the purpose of learning this is. Thanks.

Having watched Lynn's 'Alignment Golf' dvd, I can tell you that the arch Lynn is demonstrating is a little extra insurance against the flipping of the left wrist.

I'm sure some of the brains trust can enlighten you further, some time ago Lynn told us that he would view threads but he hasn't time to answer all questions.

As a self-professed beginner, it is not important that you know. Instead, it is important that you find a competent instructor -- a demonstrated record of success at all levels is a good benchmark -- and do as you are told. Or else save your money and his time.

I tried hitting some balls like this and the contact was solid but very low. I also got quite a few shanks straight right and some fat shots. The thing of most concern was the aching right lower back and left wrist. Is this photo how it should be done or is it an exaggerated version? As this is called a chip, how am I supposed to stop it on the green? Thanks for your reply

I viewed the photos you suggested and still don't see the resemblence from the pic above and the great players impacts. I do feel solid contact hitting it like this but it comes out very low and occassionally is a shank right. I video'd myself doing this and it looks the same but feels very uncomfortable and a little painful. When I look at your swing it doesnt look like this post impact. Your feedback is appreciated and congrats on Brian Gays win last week

The purpose of basic motion is to instill in your motion the 3 imperatives using a very small swing that is easy to control and make into a habit.

Refer to 2-0 General

1. Flat left wrist
2. Clubhead Lag Pressure point
3. Straight Plane line
