ariel gideon video

Not really sure where to post this (hope it is OK to post it at all!).

This is a link to a video from the 80s based on the research of biomechanic Ariel Gideon. Its a bit low quality and not TGM, but I think it is interesting for a couple of reasons:

The description of down with the arms combined with a pivot move really reminds me of Tomasello's stuff, although the emphasis is slightly different.

The talk about braking of pivot components is something you don't hear much about

The host has a fantastic pink jersey and a style that would make Troy Maclure proud!

Thanks for posting the link. Gideon Ariel was a pioneer in using computers study body movement in sports. During my college days, I worked as a tennis instructor and got to see some of his research at a teachers conference.

I look forward to reviewing his golf related research.
