Perverted Axis Tilt, Need help..

I'm sure you all have heard Lynn and Ted refer to this problem. Where the right shoulder dips under plane(in an effort to maintain axis tilt, or keep the head back) and typically results in a hook.

I've really been struggling with this recently, I'm hanging back and bending the plane line, result is a big hook.

Any good ideas as to avoid this persistant problem??

Sure

- Put one the infamous dowels across your shoulders and hold with your hands
- Make a backswing shoulder turn
- Now make a downswing where the dowel "traces" the plane line

If the dowel is outside the plane line you are "roundhousing" and if the dowel is inside the plane line you are "using perverted axis tilt" and are underplane.

Let me also add that both contribute to bending your plane line as well.
