Martin Hall on "the Golf Channel"

Anyone catch this tonight? Don't know if it has been on before.

I have been away from TGM for a long time, but tonight I was flipping channels, and I flip to TGC, and I see this guy with 2 hinges on his wrists. LOL, I knew exactly what he was doing before he spoke a word. Maybe it was fate that I caught that segment. Anyhow, does anyone know who the teacher was? What about that plywood device he was using?

Just thought you guys/gals might want to know.

Martin Hall on TGC

I was just channel surfing and happened to hit TGC just at the beginning of a segment featuring Martin Hall, who I know has TGM training (?GSEM). Mr. Hall starts his segment demonstrating the proper motion of the left and right wrists in the golf swing and has a door hinge fastened to the top of his right hand and on the side of the left wrist running up the thumb. Then shows the cocking of the left wrist and bending of the right wrist--I think I've seen this somewhere before! Goes on to mention Homer Kelley and The Golfing Machine book during the presentation as well as several other TGM points. Very well done. A gentleman named Chuck Winstead was with him during some of the presentation. Looks like some TGM info is starting to SLOWLY creep onto The Golf Channel. We need to find some way to get Yoda on there for Academy Live and blow the roof off of that place! I'll bet they would have so many requests for repeat visits that he would be on the show 3-4 times per year.
We can keep dreaming............ Dave

In April 2004, my return to the G.O.L.F. scene was with Chuck Evans, GSED, at the PGA TOUR Academy in St. Augustine, Florida. It was at this 3-day Workshop, Secrets of The Golfing Machine, that we and Randy Sparks, a.k.a. Golfingrandy, proudly presented the inaugural Homer Kelley Award to our own Matt Sluzinski, a.k.a., Matt.

Both Martin Hall, GSEM and Chuck Winstead were students for the full three days, and their active participation made this 'comeback' Academy particularly rewarding for me.

Watching now

Great to see Martin Hall have a regular segment, and teach the flying wedges, et. al. SOMEONE had to have given him the green light to mention Homer. Are the powers that be at The Golf Channel finally realizing the growing acceptance/resurgance of TGM? :)

At TGC, I'm going to 'guess' that someone was Palmer. A great show. As always Hall has creative ways to demonstrate his point that should help a lot of folks. A very solid presentation of TGM basics.

Nice to confirm Lynn's influence, although I could tell from how Hall 'clapped' ;)

Ed, do you really think Arnie takes that active a role in the decision making process there?

That was definitely a classic Academy live. Martin was great and to put it mildly, Enthusiastic!

Well when a TGM based organisation is spending 5 million a year on advertising on the golf channel would you expect that they have other TGM based info on there?

And given the rapid Spread on TGM worldwide courtesy of sites like this one and the work of other visionaries around the world TGM will only continue to grow and prosper.

Homer was right we as teachers indeed do have a responsibility to spread the word for as LYNN says it's time is NOW.
