Match Play Competing

Dear Golfers:

I'd like to become a better golfer.

Wednesday morning, at Stone Mountain, is round one of their winter match play tournament.

What wisdom do you have on strategy in match play. Singles. Win or go home kind of golf?

December 11 was 77 degrees in Atlanta.

Good golfing!!

Play your own game.
Expect your opponent to make everything.
Go for it when you need to.
Don't relax if you're up.
Good Luck!

Keep it in play. Never be out of a hole. If you always have at least a putt for a win or a half your opponent will never get a chance to relax or free-wheel.
