Balata Blues!

Curious to know what the softest ball on the market is? I don't know about you but I miss the old squishy balata balls, particularly 100 yards and in, and most definately on the greens. I do the ProV1x, like a good lemming! I enjoy hitting full shots with it and can spin the crud out of it but...on the greens it tends to jump off the face more than the "you can still make 'em smile balls" did...when I putted my best. I quite like the "dead" sound of the old ball v. the definite click of the ProV1. Any recommendations?

If Titleist is your thing then use the ProV1, it is softer around the greens. I just switched from Prov1x (been with Titleist for almost 20 years) to the Bridgestone B330. It and the B330s are very soft around the green and go very well off the driver. I have been especially impressed with it in windy conditions.
