Bash Update

I quick update in regards to the Bash. I had set the date of March 15 for the drop dead date to evaluate if it was worthwhile for me to continue. The answer is YES and the Bash will take place.

Like I stated above, the date was more of a worthwhile to proceed date rather than a "we are full" date.

Yes, we have room available and yes you may still signup after today.

Thanks

Randy

Weekly Destin Bash on the Beach Update.

Greetings from stormy Destin. The call of the day is thunderstorms and spring breakers. No, I have not yet seen the crew from "Girls gone wild!"

We do have some availability in the Guesthouse but window of opportunity is getting smaller.

I came across Destin Bridge the other day and I kept thinking to myself, "How can I find the time for the Bash Gang to take in the views one evening?" But then there was a bigger question. "With the costs of bash, how can I afford pickup the bar tab?"

For information please contact via email at:

Thanks

Randy

Update From Destin

Good evening everyone on April 16, 2005 from a Destin Florida. We ARE the luckiest fishing village in North America. Why? Our sign says so. LOL!

It was a glorious day here on the Emerald Coast. Temps reached a comfy 72 degrees and clear skies for miles and miles. The Cobia are running and future meals of this fine fish gets me mouth a watering. Red Snapper is also now in season. This mean that the home cooking for Sunday evening is a fish fry. Yeppir, life is good.

Oops, I lost me head. This was to be a golf report not a fish report. Oh well, it is what it is here on the Emerald Coast.

Just wanted to let all know that there is still room in the Guesthouse. Let's see, I am down to 2 rooms at the most thanks to a few staying off site. Even when the Guesthouse fills up, I still have many opportunities at my disposal. Heck, you can bunk with Chuck, Yoda or Carey. Just kidding!

In the coming days, sooner rather than later, we will be posting an itinerary. I also will be posting about another small lil' gathering we will be having. Mum is the word for now.

Thanks everyone for you support and consideration. You can still reach me at the following places.

P.S. Just an FYI. I am close to putting together three very good deals with organizations that will enhance golfdom and those who frequent this and a couple other sites. Stay tuned. May soon need to hire some help also so...........

Opportunity Knocking -- Loudly

Thanks, Randy, for your work in putting together the Destin Bash On The Beach. It is an outstanding combination:

1. A destination resort;

2. World-class instruction; and

3. Uncharacteristically low prices.

I encourage any 'fence sitters' out there to Private Message or email Randy now. Take advantage of this opportunity: It may never come again.

Dave,

Econ 101 never made this much sense!

Whats great about Econ 101 Dave is that for some, it just does not matter. LOL!!!!

More importantly we have reached a number that I am quite comfy with. Anymore attendees will just make for a bigger party or should I say, BASH!

Please, no swearing on this glorious Sunday morning. I awoke to a very clear sky 54 degrees with the high by noon reaching 75. How sweet it is! What is that old song and who sang it? "I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and mmmiiillleeesss, oh yea." Drum solo please.

Everyone, please have a blessed day.

Randy

This is my pleasure.

The amount of pleasure I get from the golfers who attend these things has only been witnessed by a few. I become crazy, out of my mind, enjoy so much that words cannot describe. For me these folks become like step kids though many are even older than I am. I think Lynn will confirm that you give so much that you literally become quite drained. You then return and review what you may have promised. It then drives you to do more. The "Bash" is just what it is. This was derived of a promise and one that I swore I would keep. I am a man of my word. Though only a couple can attend from the St. Augustine Workshop I have none the less kept my word that something would be offered.

Lynn is correct with his statement that this could be the last of its kind. This is due to several reasons. But as in all things I always fear to say, "NEVER!" Just some mountains are harder to climb.

Thanks y'all.

Randy

P.S. Am I logged in? Thanks Bagger for your help.

Friday evening Bash Gathering

Greetings from Destin Florida. I wanted to share with everyone where the class and crew will be hanging out Friday evening of the Bash. I thought it would be great for us to go to the beach, have some local fare and enjoy the surroundings. So it is official! The first evening of the School will be spent down by the beach at this local eatery. Oh by the way, other than drinks, though there always could be a surprise , I got the food tab.

Due to the time of season, I look for us to be here no later than 6pm, at which time we will hangout by the bar pictured below. As soon as they can seat us we shall then set down for a lil' meal. If the wait is slightly longer than expected, we will have a few appetizers.

As the pics below show, from here you can walk the beach, stick your toe in the water or just enjoy the smell of the sea.

Everyone please have a safe and blessed day.

Randy
