How Do I Know If I'm Right At the Top?
You've been there . . . every now and then. Post!
There are SEVEN 'mission critical' alignments. What are they? How do they inter-relate? How do you practice them? |
nope.
Not a clue. Sorry, if anyone knows what the 7 mission critical(s) are then please share. |
7?? These are a couple....perhaps
Top is top of the straight deliveryline:
Left flying wedge is turned to plane: left hand palm flat on top of plane (1), clubshafts buttend points to the planeline (2), clubfaces leading edge is parallel to plane or a little closed and crossline depending on griptype etc. (3) Right flying wedge is perpendicular to the plane: right hand palm flat on underneath the plane (4), right forearm is in pitch - or push position, or somewhere in between (5). For a full swing, shoulders are turned 90* back (6), hips are turned 45* back (7) Did I win in lotto? Here's a pic of me, just after start down, taken from a rare angel: ![]() |
I can fit in.
This is a great post and makes me think of where I can fit in. I do a little bit of everything mentioned here and I guess I have to find my competitive advantage.

Mission Critical
12-3-0 Checklist details the mission critical alignments. Lynn said this at Cuscowilla "The alignments are listed in the check list. If you know there are four alignment to have a perfect start up and 7 alignments to have a perfect top, 5 alignments to have a perfect finish, 2 alignment to have perfect preliminary address. And 6 of them are extensor action, that is 20% and after awhile you are pretty good. If you use them you will actually look like a golfer. Body is the massive rotor that supplies motion to arms. The arms are established in a certain relationship – the right arm wedge and the left arm wedge. Always trace the straight base line. "
