I decided to finally have a putting green installed in my back yard. Bucket recommended this layout. Thats ok for short putts, but what about the 30 foot putts? Should I aim one ball left or just for the left edge?

Doesn't matter as long as you roll the ball with sufficient speed to finishe 16.35 inches beyond the hole ;)

Hey, I'm looking for good down the line swing sequences of the Downstroke but I can't find any. Everything has gone video. I leave golf for a year and the world changes again.

I'm specifically looking for examples of Wrist Throws and Sequenced Releases. No one seems to do it anymore? is it too old school? Hmm? Any suggestions or maybe you already have them....:salut:

I've got something for you to try. Its screwy but what the heck. Address the ball. Stiffen your left arm and using your right arm, pull your left arm snuggly accross your chest with your right arm all the way to the top, or end. Start your downswing but don't release the right elbow until its almost too late. Don't forget Standard Wrist Action durring the Backstroke. Hit the ball another 20 yards. Its just for fun.:)

1. That is one dynamic lower body move, nice flying wedges. Tell us more about Wes Ellis. Any other photos or swing sequence pics? I'm hitting these days (sorry Daryl) so its looks way too unsimplified for me given my new dumbed down approach to things (hit 13 out of 14 fairways yesterday and blew it past my long hitting bully, nemesis).

3. You refer'n to Gene Sarazen's suggestion of the 1930's to widen the hole............tested and rejected due to a further advantage to the better putter?

Ellis Island and a Little Poison
 

1. Wes Ellis Jr., dominated golf in New Jersey for many years and won three professional tour events. He died at 52 years old from kidney disease.

Ellis won the New Jersey Open, the New Jersey P.G.A. and the Metropolitan Open in 1963. He took the New Jersey P.G.A. four consecutive years, begining in 1961.

On the tour, he won the 1958 Canadian Open, the 1959 Texas Open and the 1965 San Diego Open. He served as head pro at the Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell until 1967, then went to the Westchester Country Club in Harrison, N.Y.

3. Very good O.B. and if memory serves, Paul Runyan (aka Little Poison) a short hitter, but an exceptional putter won both events that the hole was enlarged. He simply made even more putts than before.

BTW, Runyan attend a few seminars with Mr. Kelley. Kelley thought Runyan was a marvelous student of the game.

Are you really Hitting these days? You have such a nice swing. Why would you turn to the Darkside? :)
