Basic for a newbie to LBG

hi guys, just recieved alignment golf dvd and cd1 is great.i'm completely new to the MG and the concepts but i'm here for the longhaul for sure.

i got my first lesson last week by a GSEB intructor in my country and its great.i'm starting off with basic motion as the face was ahead of my hands during contact while doing chipping action but with information and some work i'm getting it.

i went to my course today to play a few holes and honestly as a 9handicap i sucked....i looked more like a 26 but rome was not built in 1 day.its a whole learning process just like a newborn learning how to walk and you must walk before you run

its nice to be part of the site and lynn/vj great dvd

Don't let that first round get you down. You are working basic motion to tighten up the entire foundation of your swing with totally new impact alignments. It won't take long before you are compressing the ball more than ever before. You will finally have something you can hang your hat on for the rest of your golfing career with no guess-work!

Don't ever stop working that basic motion. Just like Lynn, VJ, and your GSEB are saying, there is a LOT of golf right there around the chipping green!

Kevin,

thank you so much for your reply.yes its disheartening but as i said new movements take time and i will reap the rewards with time and effort both of which i have.

i'm due my 2nd lesson next week and i hope i can move on having accomplished the basic motion by then.already i have improved the motion a great deal by doing alot of work at home and chipping the floor of our dining area which my wife killed me for....&D:

thanks guys for the help and encouragement in advance

Hi X-man
Welcome mate, I have for most of my life used the one plane hybrid system and in just the last year really got right into TGM. I am a pro and have for many many years modified my style of play and read way to much junk on do this and try that, What I have found is to empty your head from what you have learned and refill it with new knowledge of TGM. It will take time but you will start to play your best ever golf and from what you can learn around here is a must to improve you swing. Also find out what Swing pattern you have either a Hitter or a swinger style.
Look up the posts on EdZ Drills that have helped me alot and also
if you PM Kev he may send you some great info that has really helped my uncerstanding of TGM.
All the guys around here are fantastic and always willing to help.
