Who is John Allan May! For 100.

"Acceleration "from the top" is constant."

Not Hand speed, though the endless belt diagram assumes it to be so for illustrative purposes.

Agree or disagree?

Thanks for the reference Mike. I had never even heard of Mr. May before, but after finding a few things they are some more pure gold found here.
Thanks again!

Very cool! Did you G.O.L.F. today? How did you do? I shot a 42 and then hit every bunker on the next 9 holes for a smooth 53. :crybaby: I almost never hit sand and I am terrible at getting out of it!

City,
Yardwork much of the day, then an hour of putting and chipping.
I guess you could call it hinge work.
Do you carry a shovel as one of your 14?

Patrick,

Set your Stance Line slightly left.

Open your Clubface and aim it slightly right.

Position the ball well forward.

From a 'Head Centered' position, lean your whole body left. Move your Head and Left Shoulder LEFT. Picture the 'Leaning Tower of Pisa'. Dig in your left foot twice as deep as your right -- the way the TOUR players footprints look when they exit the sand -- and leave your weight there.

Now, picture a 'flying carpet' of sand beginning and exiting two inches on each side of the ball.

Stay left, and swing along a line slightly left of the flag.

With authority, 'spank' the club through the sand.

That should do it.

Ouch!

See I've just threadjacked. Interested follow-ups should be posted in a separate thread.

Carry on.

Sorry!

Mike,

Is John Allan May still with us? The British writer embraced TGM early on and became fast friends -- albeit an ocean apart -- with Homer Kelley.

He wrote a couple articles that were published in Homer's Star System Press Bulletin. Let's put these up.

Unfortunately, No.

P.S. Bagger, Please note the Threadjack by Yoda - He should be punished the same as all threadjackers!
