Tour Q-School
I may be a little bit of a Sadistic SOB, but my favorite event of the year, next to the Masters, is Tour Q-School. I really look forward to watching it every year.
Teachers and Players, who do we know at Q-School we can all watch and cheer for? Not one of my students, but a friend who grew up playing at my former club, Clayton Rask, is in the field. Kevin |

I've worked with Scott Dunlap, although not recently. Scott is an aging warrior who has played on the PGA TOUR (three T-3 finishes) but has been plowing away the past few years on the Nationwide (winning twice). He's still a wonderful ball striker, so if the putter's working, it could be a great story. http://www.pgatour.com/players/00/60/36/ Of course, we've all got to root for Boo Weekley. This multiple PGA TOUR event winner and Ryder Cup player is an attraction in every tournament he enters. Boo needs the TOUR, and the TOUR needs Boo. http://www.pgatour.com/players/02/62/89/ Go Jim, Scot, and Boo! :golf: |
Thanks for the info Yoda. 3 Great guys to cheer for!

Kevin, I love Q school, too. That final round is always high drama. Interesting year in that PGATour and LPGA finals going on at same time.

Right now towards the end of the first round, 3 under par is tied for 45th place.
Man, these guys are good. These are really difficult golf courses and can make us mere mortals look really silly, really quick. AMAZING! Kevin |

I hope all our friends are safe out there... Sounds like huge winds the next couple of days, I wonder if they are getting the same in La Quinta? Maybe the qualifying will be set back a couple of days? Kevin |
We also have to cheer for the only guy out there using 10-1-E, don't we??? :) :salut:
