Unless of course your arms are made out of Twizzlers! I like to think of my arms as steel cables from a suspension bridge (ropes + a tension force.) I tried for many years to do what Bobby Jones and company advocated, swinging the left arm only to find that my right arm resisted CF in the straightening process (control freek that I am) That tricep is NEVER completely passive. What I thought was muscular thrust was actually extensor action! How could I mistake one for the other, you may ask? I would have thought extensor action was an ice skating move before TGM! Some of you may be thinking about becoming hitters, before you do so make sure you are actually...hitting? Using the right arm correctly, or effectively for the first time gave me the impression that I was "hitting."
