I am new to TGM, and I have a follow up question on PP#3 and plane line. It has to do with practicing. When I am working on the Basic Motion drills, should I consciously be thinking about PP#3? As it is practice, I will be making a lot of consecutive swings. Should I be working on thinking about the fee of PP#3 on each one? My experience so far, which is not much, is that I can think about the feel in my hands so long as I am not trying to hit a ball. Once I put a ball down, it is much harder for me not to think about hitting the ball, which makes me forget what is going on in my hands.
Mr Kelly said" EDUCATE YOUR HANDS". For that you must know what to teach them. Read chapter 5 and 6-G-0 and 6-H-0. So dont just think about your hands - put your brains in them as in let them be the brains of your motion . If you know what your hands are doing you know what the clubhead ,clubshaft and clubface is doing. This doesnt come easy but if you can be sensitive to feel what your hands are doing you CAN educate them. In fact you have educated them.
