Seems like you are out to cause trouble.

Your posts do not contribute to anyone's attempt at learning golf or G.O.L.F.

Give it a rest.

Whoa!
Sorry you feel that way, Wolfman! I would suggest that your interpretation of my intentions are decidedly more caustic than my own. This is my point, I take exception to a casual mention of Mr. Kelley having "whiffed" using information that I cannot peruse myself. Considering the textbook that we rely on so heavily is Mr. Kelley's magnum opus, ANYTHING, that calls the information he has given us into question must be fully vetted. I was hoping to rely on the wealth of expertise that is represented by this site, NOT stir a hornet's nest! I'm not that phased by controversy, as long as it is not conducted ad hominem. Admittedly, the information was not courtesy of this forum, but a widely respected savant of TGM resides here!

One last thing. Why did you not speak to the topic? Surely, you cannot call me to task when you have little to offer pertaining to the topic at hand. Shouting someone down does nothing to quell what you suggest!

Having said all of that there is no malice here, just a little controversy!

Have a Merry Christmas!

Break!
Both points duly noted.

Merry Christmas, gentlemen!

On events such as the TGM Summit, Brian would be the first to say that he operates as a "fair game" reporter -- I learned that term from him -- and that he offers his own unvarnished opinions as a bonus.

I'm cool with that. Chacun son goût.

Further, we enjoy the discussion of 'issues' here and learn from each 'gauntlet thrown' and dissenting opinions. Vitriol, on the other hand, is counterproductive, and that's where we draw the line.

Let's discuss facts, opinions and opinions presented as facts. And do so with passion!

But also with civility.
