13. The Clubhead travels Down-and-Out until it reaches its "Low Point".
14. Divots are taken "Down-and-Out"---not just "Down".
I believe my swing is in conformance with those suggestions.

When Tomasello said "hit out at the ball, hit out at the ball". he was talking about out in front of him. That movement worked imo because of his horizontal hinging. I found it didn't work for me with my angled hinging in fact it cause me to hit repeated shanks.

Despite the fact that I am entirely self taught in The Golfing Machine, I am hitting the ball better on the range than I can ever remember hitting it in my life. I played one round of golf and the person I played with was quite impressed by the improvement that I showed. I have told myself that I would take a lesson when a problem develops that I can't handle. But at the moment, it has been very smooth sailing and I keep improving. Not to say that I am not anxious for Yoda to come out with a video, which I would buy in a heartbeat. Also if I was 3 or 4 hours drive from Atlanta, I would take lessons with Ted or Yoda without a doubt. I am less confident about instructors closer by New York, because I simply don't know who the good instructors are, and particularly who would be good for my "hitting" swing.
I happen to be accustomed to and very proficient about teaching myself. Also people on this forum and the TT video has been very informative. I didn't set out to do it on my own. But at the moment, it just has been working that way.
