How much relationship is there between golf swing and baseball swing,I know a couple of ex baseballers who are very very long hitters in golf.I am of course looking at it through TGM eyes.Cheers in advance

Baseball swing can be adapted ti the gikf swing with one simple change that makes it very easy a 10-2-d grip where the left wrist is turned and cocks on the same line as the right wrist bend just look at tommy gainey
The biggest thing that I have found since my journey into golf and baseball similarities began is the "TRUE" meaning of ground forces and the benefits it offers in golf.
I have only touched the surface of ground forces but can see its benefits already
Since I have been concentrating on ground forces and just using pivot and plane work and just letting the club do the work as a result of all the preceding alignments, the compression and accuracy is incredible, this Im only using nothing more than 6ir at this stage............what Im looking for is the speed comparison between 6ir and longer irons that are in line with hips and clubhead speed that also keep this same feel of timing and compression..............maybe I should delve deeper into kinetics ?
the best MLB woodbat sweetspot hitters vs MLB pitchers with command (experts at upsetting timing) have to keep the hands back and get the bat up to speed quickly adjusted on a plane that matches pitch location enough to optimize timing error for a solid/square/fair bat-ball collision.
Williams' SCIENCE OF HITTING is still as good a description as there is of this type of swing, but still a very limited description due to the lack of any precision model and terminology foundation as developed by Homer Kelley in TGM.
For this type of baseball hitting, to move the swing arc back, the hands are loaded to the rear side of the body, not kept in front of the body.
The swing is shortened by using the upper arms in a way that minimizes the length of the arm lever.
You must hit (not swing) using the forearms to torque the handle between the hands to quicken and time the swing. You want very strong forearms.
The rear scap/shoulder stays tight through contact to provide a platform for hitting.
The lower body is very much rear leg centric, balanced around the rear hip joint, most similar to this one-legged golfer's lower body:
