I'm not really sure about the timeline on this. We are doing a lot of work right now behind the scenes on the new website and forum.

This idea is definitley being considered.

wolfman. In the mean time you might want to try posting your video. Someone might have a go at it.

Posting a video
Didn't know that was an option. How do I go about posting a video?

If it was me I'd - for example - upload to http://www.rapidshare.de
Then post a link to the video here & maybe on some other sites as well. Make sure to collect some advice on how to position the camera, set shutter speed (maybe even clothes to wear) before producing it. Unfortunately some "home" swing videos are of poor quality & no one is able to say much about them.

Off the top of my head I'd say a decent "production spec" is:
- High shutter speed (sometimes "SPORTS" setting) on camera
- Position camera level with impact hands. (I think)
- Front view: Ball in the middle of the view (See mikestloc video)
- Front view: Cam perpendicular to target line. Ball in center (See mikestloc video)
- Back view: (Hmm. Do not recall which was best position)
- Wear a shirt with horizontal stripes
- Quicktime format is nice. Easy to go frame-by-frame even without SW.

You may want to look around for a spec or good example before shooting.

Posting video
Thanks for the reply. I have a good digital camera with sport setting.

As soon as the sun comes out again, I'll get some video.

We haven't had a good sunny day since the middle of April -raining again today.

BTW, Chuck Evans site does have an outline of the best way to video golf swings.

Thanks again for the help.
