So, I ordered the book and it came very quickly. I started reading it last week. It was pretty overwhelming at first but as I read all the various forums and watched videos, I started figuring out the things I was doing wrong in my swing.
I figured out that my stance and closeness to the ball at setup was way too much. I was standing way too close. This is after watching a Brian Manzella video and watching the location of the right arms on the downswing prior to impact. I was never allowing myself to get into a proper position. I started at the range on grass today with 150 balls. I used the right arm horizontal plane with club in right arm and then lower to obtain my position. Then I setup. When I do this I can clear my hips with my right arm and everything falls in place. Also using extensor action more and taking back with right arm as opposed to shoulder turn take away.
It's amazing what a little knowledge will do. And the best thing yet. I was hitting my driver at the range. Back pin is 250. I was flying it over the back pin today. As I was putting away the driver, I hear over the loudspeaker "Golfers we have switched to normal flight golf balls, if you can hit your driver into the back net please refrain from hitting driver, Thank you" The guy next to me turns to me and points then says "It was you."
LOL, never had that happen to me.
Yoda, I really want to attend one of your golf sessions. Are you planning on doing anything in California?
