3-F-5 The Address Routine
I would like to see a full discussion on the address routine as covered in 3-F-5.

It should cover in order the following:
1. The Practice Stroke -- Over the ball, the extent of the swing, thoughts, what's accomplished
2. The Waggle --
3. The Forward Press -- Impact Position?

Although 3-F-5 only covers a page and a half I believe this posting will be quite long if all the important details are included.
I believe this is a very important step that I must make automatic. As I saw in one of the searches I conducted on the site said: " ...if done properly this allows you to hit your second ball first". And my second ball always goes where I whished my first ball went.

Shining Light On The Address Routine
This is a good idea, Jim, and I have some definite 'Homer Thoughts' to add to 3-F-5. I'm leaving now for a full day on the Lesson Tee, but I'll make this a priority -- probably in three 'bite-sized' posts -- in the days ahead.

while we're waiting for the master.......
My first question here was about the waggle: http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/v...ght=waggle#542

I'm looking forward to the rest of the story, especially the 'Homer thoughts'.

I also asked this question on Chuck's website. Here's a link to Yoda's and Chuck's answers. http://www.chuckevansgolf.com/forum/...read.php?t=350

One Down, Two To Go!
Wow, Thom and Rchang72, thanks! I forgot I had written these pieces. Do I really need to write any more about the Address and Start Down Waggles? I think not. But a video demonstration...now that's another story!

So, only the Practice Swing and Forward Press remain.

What all this cries for, of course, is a complete archive of the past year's posts and a search capability that allows our members instant access to the answers they seek.

Bagger?

Trig?

Are we there yet?

That's it guys. Thanks Thom and rchang72.
With A Tale of Two Waggles at: http://www.chuckevansgolf.com/forum/...read.php?t=350 and a short video that would be perfect.

Thanks again Yoda

Please bear with a non-native speaker of English. When I read:
"1. The Practice Stroke -- Over the ball" on 3-F-5 in TGM I interpreted this as basically making a whiff with the clubhead passing over the ball. Can this be so? I would be afraid of moving a ball at rest.

You are correct. If this bothers you, just move away from the ball. No harm, no foul.

That surprises me. What is the thinking behind that? Visualization? I probably would be OK with shorter irons, but I suppose you have to be consistent and do it with everything, including the driver with the ball teed?
