follow through(bent right wrist)
When I try to maintain the bent right wrist in my follow through (both arms straight) I shank the ball. What am I doing wrong?

Stop trying Jerry. Stop hanging on. After impact the right wrist will flatten. No problem as long as you don't intend to do it into impact. Look at Lynn's avator- that is impact fix. That is IMPACT position.

Lets look at the left wrist and #2&3 Accumulators. #2- uncock and #3- roll. Just let that happen- throw the club and roll into impact via pivot and swivel. A swinger never holds on or holds back #2&3 power accumulators. Stay bent into impact and just allow the left to roll and follow through to the end.

Check out Lynn's video- "Homer's greatest Hits" and "The Swivel" video in the Gallery.

Only Mark Evershed wants the right wrist to remain bent throughout the stroke but he combines a Hitter's thrust with a Swinger's pivot.

Let it go- FLAIL!

Strangling the grip with your right hand and overpowering your left hand's control of the club face in the process, is my guess.

Loosen that right hand grip a bit and give up control, in the right hand, so as to gain control in the left hand - where it belongs.
