Help!
I scheduled a lesson with Yoda.
I haven’t hit a Golf Ball since Thanksgiving and before that June of 2007.
I went to the range yesterday.
I’m in trouble. Direction is very good but Trajectory is not.
What should I do to get back my swing?
3 of 5 shots are great but 2 of 5 will cost me. My Drives and Pitching are excellent. Putting is good. I tried throttling back. I’m keeping my head stationary. What’s up with the 3 irons?
Should I just go out and do Basic Motions for a couple of weeks and then Acquired for a couple of weeks?
How do you get the swing back: Fast?

Silly Daryl Head
You don't pay for a lesson for the oppurtunity to impress the instructor do ya, silly? I say get your swing into as many knots as possible before the lesson with Yoda in order to maximize your purchasing power! If not, look to your hands "Very few are the mistakes and troubles of a golfer that do not stem from faulty hands." HK So, basic motion with all the hinge actions you like to use sounds like a winner!

Bucket and I have known you were troubled all along! Now, you're just starting to realize what we already knew!

See, I'm already preparing for You and Bucket for October.... Benjamin Franklin is one of my favorite founding fathers. I like collecting pictures of him.

Has anyone seen Bucket lately?

Daryl,
Wouldn't worry about being rusty. When I decided I was going to hit the Swamp I purposely didn't hit any balls during the winter at our local dome facility---figured I didn't want to practice the wrong things. Showed up in late March having not hit a ball for 4 months. Yep, took a while to get back in the groove, but after about an hour it was getting back to normal. And Lynn will know whether you missed a shot because of rust or whether the mechanics were wrong. Be prepared to hit a lot of balls---but then again, Lynn likes to pound a few hundred himself!!

He fixed my swing last year. I hate for him to see any of that go to waste. Besides, I think I'd like to wager 'Polies' for Dimes with him.
