Thanks for the thread, Andy. I saw the first round scores, but 'ol Yoda's been busy and didn't get the news up. Thanks again for the assist!

Big Day Comin' At Bellerive
After opening rounds of 67-67=134 (-6), Brian Gay is -4 today through 15 holes (-10 for the tournament) and in solo third place. Jay Williamson, the other contender on the LBG Leaderboard, has completed three rounds with 68-69-72=209 (-1 and T-37).

Round 3 of the BMW Championship has been suspended due to darkness. Play will resume at 7:30am local time. Round 4 is scheduled to begin between 10:00am - 12:00pm on both the 1st and 10th tee.

To say that tomorrow's play is critical is an understatement. The Top 30 in FedExCup points earn a spot in next week's final Playoff event -- The TOUR Championship in Atlanta -- and a shot at the richest prize in professional golf. The rest go fishing.

As of last week, Brian ranked 58th with 98,385 points. But, should he sustain his brilliant play this week -- -- he is projected to win 5,400 points and move up 35 spots to 23rd (103,785 points). http://www.pgatour.com/r/stats/curre...ections-1.html

Which of course, would put him in next week's field.

Good luck tomorrow guys!

The Eye of the Hurricane
Here's what Brian Gay had to say in his post-round interview last night:

http://www.pgatour.com/2008/tourname...gay/index.html

He completed his 3rd round early this morning, shooting his third consecutive 67 to close at -9 and T-3.

Play now has begun in today's crucial 4th round. For many involved and for a variety of reasons, it is the most important round of their lives. This is what these guys live for, and I know Brian is up to the task.

He goes at 11:50 CT.

Tough Sunday
Brian closed with a 2-over 72 on Sunday. For the week, he shot 273, 7-under, and his T13 finish earned $131,250.

Jay Williamson finished at 2-over 282, good for T52 and a check for $16,520.

Congrats, guys!
