Hi,
Just discovered Lynn Blake, but have gone through the Alignment Golf dvd's a few times and watched every video I could find online. One question - in a video posted earlier on this thread (the Golf Channel Instructor search video) - at about 6:24 Yoda shows the setup position and it looks like he is saying to align the shaft with the left forearm at setup, and it looks like he is saying to cock the wrist downward at address because that is how it will come through at impact. However, that would seem to result in zero angle for the #3 accumulator, and it feels very weird when I set up this way. Am I misunderstanding what he is saying? Thanks for any help.
Eddie,
1) Make the right hip backswing motion better - you're stuck - probably based on some implementation of the idea of restricted hip motion.
2) Square up the clubface better at address before you take the grip.
3) Take it back the opposite of the roll open takeaway feel
4) You need to learn to hit down - on top of the ball - with the face. Too much "UP" going on.
Nice and concise, Mike? How is CA?
May I just add that you can drag the club back and up using no hands, just your hip.

Welcome SD. I know many of the regular Pros are giving thousands of lessons or competing now and they will get back to you. I am being filtered from seeing the film you mention right now.
But Level Left Wrist is the way to go along with Right Forearm on plane. Please go here and watch my struggles to learn the correct grip.
The skinny guys are pros. I am not in case you were confused.

Thanks for your videos and reply. What Yoda has you do in your grip and setup seems normal to me. I still have no idea what he is trying to show at 6:24 in that Golf Channel instructor search video, it looks to me like he is setting up the left wrist in the impact position, which is exactly what he says not to do in your video.
Hi,
One more thing that I find very confusing, I wonder if someone could help. Several times Yoda states that there is no rolling of the hands, and he gives the example of the door closing, so the clubface goes from open to closde as the "door" swings but the hands do not roll.
However, in other places like in discussion of accumulator 3 and in the Golf Channel instructor search video at 1:53 there are a couple of still pictures with captions saying left wrist flat/rolling, right wrist bent/rolling.
Obviously I have a major misunderstanding here - can someone tell me what I am missing - are the hands rolling or staying vertical? Thanks.
Thanks for your videos. They make sense to me, I still don't understand what Yoda is saying in that section of his video though. (It's the Golf Channel Instructor search video, easy to find on YouTube and on this site).

Here is another link, maybe you can see this one.
These are 2 different things. In the golf channel video Yoda is showing the right forearm being on plane which puts the left wrist in a level, impact condition and is a vertical condition. In innercity's video, he was talking about the horizontal condition of the left wrist being bent.
Thank you Ben. I have been studying my Alignment Golf dvd's diligently. In disc 1 there are multiple references to a full swing DVD, but this is not included in the Alignment Golf set. Does such a dvd exist? Thanks.
Just ordered my Taly Mind Set. Have not found any DVD's from Lynn Blake about the full swing, and have searched very hard. I guess nothing like that exists.
