We only had an hour's session that day, so we were never able to work up to
12-5-3, Total Motion. I hope to provide more pictures the following lesson.
If we cannot control a chip shot that is 2 feet in length back and through, we cannot control a pitch and we most certainly cannot control a full swing.
Too many students take the cart and put it before the horse.
They realise that the flat left wrist is the solution to their problems after being guided through
12-5-1, Basic Motion by me.
So what do they do? Go straight to the full swing and try to apply the FLW, and condemn themselves to a lifetime of frustration.
There is a reason for
12-5-1/2/3 being called
Basic,
Acquired and then
Total Motion. There is also a reason that they are placed in that order.
