Well at last I knew there were two tests, one for GSEB and MSEB, but that may have changed since they have two levels of GSEB.
Pre-new management there was I think a 600 plus question test for the MSEB. Chuck had a pre-test of about 70 questions.
It is or was an open book test. As with most open book tests they can be harder than a no book test. Joe was requiring exact wording of the answers as you would find in the book but that was several years ago.
Chucks test was good intro to what to expect for the class. Especially if you had read all the recomended chapters, etc.
All I can remember off the top of my head was that come Saturday after the class, my brain was mush from the classes all day and homework till the wee hours of the morning.
That was a "watered down" version of the real deal.
This link is also the test that Chuck made people who attended his instructor trainees who attend his "certification class" take.
The test has evolved throughout the years. Homer gave the test as a written or take home examine- the score determined what level authorization you received. What? A take home? Remember- no Yoda, no internet, just you, the book and your frayed wits.
