I used to tee the ball very high, about at least half the ball above the driver face (after reading so many articles about teeing higher to get longer etc..) for the driver, however I found I have difficulty in hitting down. I sense that I try to hit up, forearm rolling etc. Then I do some thinking: why I can hit down on iron and woods on the fairway? So, I tee the ball now lower, 1/4 above the driver's face, and somehow, psychologically?, I hit the driver down.
Is this, the tee height, make hitting down difficult? What is the correct height for hitting for driver? Any difference between swinging and hitting?
Use Impact Fix to determine the tee height which will put the ball on the upper center of the face at Impact. That's your starting point. Then fine tune on the range using ball flight as the final authority.
