When I'm swinging with what I believe to be a hitting procedure, my clubface appears to be what would be described in conventional terms as quite shut or hooded at the top. In other words, when I simply bend back my right wrist and pick up the club with my right forarm, my clubface does not rotate to a position that places it parallel to the target line, but rather keeps the face kind of pointing at the ball.
Is this OK when hitting? If not, what am I missing here?
