I would like to add my thanks to Yoda for a wonderful set of DVDs. I can't tell you how much I enjoy them as well as how much clearer this has made Mr. Kelley's great work for me. VJ Trolio did a wonderful job as well!

Regards,
Kevin

ok , went through the entire series of dvd's. the putting dvd just made my stroke that much more concrete, ive been putting lights out this year and thanks to the dvd, now i know why. zero out acc3, flat left wrist or bowed, forward leaning shaft meaning pure roll. cool!

Ive mentionned before that i was wondering why with the shaft in left cup, my iron play, heck, entire play is more stable, now i understand that i have the same ryhtm with everthing! so that explains my good play these recent months, doesnt mean zero out, but just the same damn thing.

this is getting cool!

New to this TGM/LBG thing. Received my Alignment Golf DVD and my first copy of TGM about a week and a half ago. I LOVE the DVDs!!! They really bring the book to life. I honestly don't think I could've figured out the book on my own but I'm still reading and trying to absorb as much as I can. Got my dowels and impact bag and I'm drilling away. The right forearm flying wedge drill really brought it together for me. I can't wait to go to the range tomorrow. Thanks Lynn and VJ!! Here's to this 7 handicapper falling off the handicap chart!!

Jamie

PS- The putting DVD is also really sweet! I got my #3 accumulator zeroed out and my right forearm on plane. This is gonna be so much fun!!

Great stuff, Jamie. And 'Welcome Aboard' with this first post. I'm bustin' every button!

Please . . . tell me a bit more about your golf and where are you located. I'll guard against any thread-jack.

Thanks!

Thanks for the welcome yoda! I live in Southern California. I'm 37 and I've been playing since I was 24. I attended the San Diego Golf Academy in 1996 when AJ Bonar was director of golf instruction. Unfortunately I was unable to finish the school due to a family emergency where I had to come home and run the family business. A few years later I attempted the PAT in Palm Springs and failed twice so I gave up on my true love which I deeply regret. I'm just a once-a-week golfer now trying to break through a 7 handicap for about 5 years now. I've had some success in golf. I won my Club Championship in 2002 and then choked in the Tournament of Club Champions later that year. I started hitting thin shots and a couple shanks and blew up my score (those seem to be my misses with the AJ method). Anyway, I'm very excited to be part of this group and I really enjoy your instruction (my wife gets a kick out of you too). Thanks again yoda for this site and for the DVDs.

After trying to decipher TGM materials from books, websites, forums and video's I had all but given up on trying to figure out this methodology and then this thread comes up.... I've asked for this DVD series for Christmas. :D I guess I'll give it another shot.

Give it another shot...and a little time! Don't forget to check out the gratis and non-gratis goodies on this site...although it does not get better than Alignment Golf. If you have not already check it out take a gander at "Dowels and Wedges" in the Gallery. It is still the best short lesson...EVER!

there is alot of talk about extensor action in the vids. i was wondering if extensor action is rather a push via right hand on the left thumb or a pull longitudinal wise towards the ground? Coz i can push on the left thumb or pull the left thumb down towards the ground at setup. me needs thee precision!

Linguine Lefty

There is a pushing pressure against PP#1...but this in turn pulls the piece of string (left arm) straight! It is a below plane pulling of the left arm (unless #3Acc is zeroed out) If you want that stony compression sound you gotta have it. Without it your flying wedges are like a balsa wood shuttle re-entering the earth's atmosphere! It is a beautiful blend of geometry (flying wedges) and physics (extensor action)
