All pole-ies and no hole-ies

We found out this morning that we're expecting our 3rd boy. We're due on November 15th.

My foursome is now complete. :toothy1:

Congrats, Ted, to you and Wendy!

And thanks for your phone call this morning telling me personally the good news! Seems like just yesterday you guys were getting hitched. Then . . .

Boom.

Boom.

And now . . .

Boom again!

Avoidance would be my first choice. I'm very happy to pay for three rehearsal dinners, instead of paying for the big show.

Vikram 07-02-2009 07:02 AM

Well Done and congratulations Ted and Wendy.

Congratulations Ted and Wendy! That is such great news. Of course you know the odds are at least one of them will be a swinger, just to be different.

I have two brothers and can tell you that although you won't have to pay for 'the big show', those same costs are spread across their adolescent years (and maybe beyond) in the form of broken/ruined furniture, cars, faces/arms/legs, tools, and anything else that gets in the path of the tornado that is 3 boys....boys are sneaky expensive, and the more you put in a room together the more expensive it gets! :)

In all seriousness, congrats to you and Wendy!

I'm envious. Three boys are going to be a hoot.
Make sure Wendy is treated like a Queen!

Congratulations!

"I make some good lookin' kids!"

I just got off the phone with one proud papa, Ted Fort, and those were the words he spoke.

Joshua Sloan Fort was born today at 2:13pm. He came in at 7lbs 11oz. Obviously at that size he will probably be a hitter!

Congratulations to the Fort Foursome and thank goodness all the children look like Mama Fort!

I hope everything goes well the next few days and throughout the lives of all your children. You are a great person and obviously a great father and husband.

Kids are so great. These are the best of times.

GPStyles 11-11-2009 05:49 AM

I envy you the foursome you'll be able to enjoy in the next few years!

My threesome will see my 'holies' playing off tees in front of me!

Good times Ted!

Congratulations!

Joshua Sloan Fort

Thanks to everyone. When I saw him, there was no doubt that he's a 10-4-D! Mom and Joshua are doing well.

The bottom picture shows how upset he has been since he was born. He hasn't cried since the nurses made him cry to clear his lungs.

Ted Fort & Sons.

Congrats, Ted, and a hearty "Welcome aboard!" to young Joshua Sloan Fort. We exchanged texts before, during and after The Blessed Event, but I wanted to post here as well. Congrats also to Wendy. She now has her hands full: Papa Bear and the Three Cubs are going to keep her plenty busy!

And the look on Josh's face in the bottom photo is priceless. I swear I can hear him saying, "You're away."

:laughing9

I had my set of clubs in the delivery room. He couldn't take his eyes off of them.

Wendy said she was going to take the phone away from me. But, I said, "But, baby, it's Yoda."

GPStyles 11-12-2009 08:16 PM

hehe, I love it Ted!

Either way, what the hell are you doing on here?

You should be out 'wetting the baby's head'!!!

I really think you need me over there to give you guys an Irish way of doing things properly!

I'm still planning my trip to the swamp, if it comes off I'll make sure you guys never forget it!

YodasLuke 11-12-2009 10:25 PM

already home

Come on Patty! Come over here and show us how it's done.

We're already home. I'm just changing nappies. This is the quietest baby that I've ever seen. He hasn't cried since he was born. He's not making a sound. He eats, sleeps, and fills the nappy.

As far as the trip to the swamp goes, you know we're ready, willing, and able.

Some things are best done in private.

Originating children is one of them.
