Lynn Blake Golf Academy At Cuscowilla / Teaching Center

7 Attachment(s)
The construction of my teaching center at Cuscowilla is now well under way. Here are plans of the exterior view (go View / Rotate View / Counterclockwise); the groundbreaking last month; and a couple of photos from today as the foundation was being laid.

We're shooting for completion no later than the third week in March.

So far, so good!

Hmm....I like.

I see the guy behind you on the last photo did not take your instructions very well, as shown on the 5th photo, a "drag the wet mop" tendencies warning...:eyes:

Could you talk us through on what will be where on the drawings. Are you having one or 2 hitting areas.

hey...no snow?:)

Looks Good

The building looks great! Good luck. Where is it located at Cuscowilla? On the main range. What are you planning to have on the inside?

EdZ 12-31-2009 03:25 PM

Lynn - Did you find a spot in all the cement to imprint your #3 pressure point? :)

Bill,

In a prior post Lynn said it is located on the opposite end of the range from where we were. We need the additional exercise getting back to the clubhouse to develop a thirst :occasion: .

Drew was that the first non titled post of 09? Almost had the perfect season there, but for a shocking last minute collapse witnessed around the world.

You were so, so close! Oh well maybe next year.

Wait a minute, could this be the work of Mike O? Was he trying to get inside your kitchen with that "King of all Titles" crack? Does this give Mike a clear track to LBG Poster of the Year? Quick Drew you must engage Mike once more before this day , this year is over..............................

In the astro surfer dude blue shorts from the Center of Mass, Drew Chapmannnnnnnn.........ANd wearing the white shorts with some brown streaks and a yellow spot in the front there...............Grand Masta Thread Jackaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Lets GET READY TO RUMBLLLLLLL....

Mike O 12-31-2009 11:26 PM

It's true OB - the Masta ThreadJacka - has hit the Sand Man - dazed and confused :confused1 he's not even giving his posts titles! :boxing: Towards the end of the year - I'm bringing it for the judges to see my quickness, power, determination :eyes:

That guy with the long trowel- please get him off the construction site- he has no idea what he is doing!

I understand your concern powerdraw- while I don't have the internal plans, I have confirmed that there will be a locked cage for when Bucket is in town, it will allow him to hit balls and you can see him but you don't have to hear him.

That reminds me of that old fair grounds side show where a beautiful girl is put in a cage and then for unknown reasons she turns into a crazed gorilla. You ever see that one? Anyways I ran for the door when the gorilla broke loose and came at the crowd. That was one close call back there at the Calgary Stampede.

This might be proprietary information but I wonder how strong Lynn's cage will be? Any smoke or cameras? Beautiful girls in Monkey suits? If Buck comes out as a goat, I aint running this time.

Looks like fun Lynn!:thumleft: A really nice addition to a great facility.

P.S.
Please re-consider letting Drew Chapman visit - I can vouch for him - the whole "naked thing running down the hallway" last time - will not happen again.

Thanks for this, Mike. I appreciate it!

For those relatively new to LBG . . .

Mike O is the one responsible for all this nonsense.

:notworthy

He called me out of the blue in December of 2003 . . .

I was happily involved in my own investment firm and twenty years removed from any professional golf association. Nevertheless, we talked; he told me about the 'goings on' with the new management at TGM; and we exchanged some mail.

In January, one head cold and a few clicks later, I was back up to my eyeballs in what I had walked away from twenty years before.

Thank God for Homer Kelley;

Thank God for Mike O; and . . .

Thank God for the Internet.

And I believe my exact quote at the time was "My God what have I unearthed!" and now we know the rest of the story...... Good Day!

Wow!! That is coming on a treat my friend.
Can't wait to see it all finished up and ready to go.

That would be in the lounge -- not pictured in the slide show -- directly behind the main teaching bay. No spa -- gimme time, will ya! :laughing9 -- but inside the lounge reside the bar, fridge, ice maker, fireplace, chairs, tables (there may be a deck or three of cards around somewhere!) and a wall-mounted, large screen TV. There is also a commercial-grade smoke extractor for after-hour cigar events.

Plowing new ground here for teaching centers!

:eyes:

Yoda, I thought you were joking about the bar, lounge and smoke extractor!

Very full service of you.

I like the setup a lot, can't wait to see it up and running. I have a week off in March...wonder if I can move it to the end of it :laughing9
