Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational / Nationwide Tour

The Ohio State University will host the newest Nationwide Tour event at its Scarlet Course. Jack Nicklaus, a legendary Ohio State alum, is set to serve as the inaugural honorary chairman. The purse is $700,000, the second richest on the Nationwide's regular schedule, with $126,000 to the winner. http://www.pgatour.com/2007/h/02/28/...ase/index.html

John Riegger and Robin Freeman are in the field. A number of Nationwide regulars were able to get in the field at the John Deere Classic on the PGA TOUR and opted to play there this week. Despite the fact that he finished 5th at -15 last year in the John Deere and shot the final round low of 64, John opted to go for the 'W' on the Nationwide.

Good luck, gents!

John's Movin'!

John Riegger is also cashing in on his strategy to get his card back via the Nationwide tour. T-6 after the first round. Way to go, John! :happy3:

John Riegger is three shots back of the leader and T5 after rounds of 70-70-72=212. http://www.pgatour.com/leaderboards/...094/index.html

Redesigned by Jack Nicklaus in 2006, the Ohio State University Scarlet Course is one of the nation's finest collegiate courses. It is playing exceptionally difficult, particularly in the windy conditions of the past two days, with only nine players under par for the tournament.

Good luck today, John!

P.S. Check out John's model Address position below. Note his On Plane Right Forearm and the correctly-soled Clubhead (with the Hands held at Impact height, the ball falls toward the toe of the soled Clubface, but 'On Center' for Impact). Be sure to use the 'expand' feature on your viewer...it's like being there!
