Just received my Yellow Book, now what?

Hi
I just received my Yellow Book. Whats the best approach to reading this book? Should I just start reading it cover to cover?
Thanks
Ralph

Go to PREFACE....if you have the 7th Edition....go to page XIV at the beginning of the book. Follow the reading process laid out by Mr. Kelley. It's a four step process...then expect 5 to 10 years of serious study before you have a good grasp on the text (just like anything worth mastering). Enjoy the process...or better said the "Journey".

No, enjoy your curiosity. Flip through the book and see what gets you attention. Chapters 7 and 10 hold the components, find something with index. You have time to give it a good study. Read some Yoda posts and check them out in the book. Even after years of study, a passage will hit you like you never read it before. Strangely, Homer’s Golf book on Linear Force is not written linearly. You will run out of fingers marking pages.

Index

I find that it helps to make notes in the index as to where to find
terms/references. For example, you will find a lot of disscusion
in the Fourms about "The Magic of the right Forearm". This is not
mentioned in the Index anywhere. Sure wish that an 8th addition
would come out with a true search of the items in the text.
