Why should the right wrist stay level?

What is the answer when someone ask why should the right wrist stay level?

Grab a two ended flashlight and see what happens to the light beam when you cock the right wrist having made a backswing level first. While you are at it bend it some more and flatten it.

To maintain the RFFW and support the shaft. Also, because impact's not much fun when trying to maintain wristcock and fight CF. Ask T.W. (especially with a weak grip and forward pivot)

Because . . . when the Right Wrist Cocks, the Clubshaft leaves the Plane of the Right Forearm.

This is an out-of-line Power Package complication that mandates a dynamic, in-swing Compensation to correct the situation and arrive at the correct Impact alignments.

Which can be done, of course, and often is. Nevertheless, it is unnecessary and fraught with split-second timing requirements.
