Partner changed rules
Just a quick thanks to Yoda, Annikan, Compda and all the others who have answered my posts and helped me so much. Special thanks to you, YodasLuke, for your encouragement.

I still haven't gotten the hang of the full swing yet but am working on it. I've gotten the click noise of chips and pitches down pat though.

The group I play with on Sat. always has a rule that if it's just us playing that instead of walking up to green and removing the flag that if the ball hits the flag near the hole, we count it as in. That saves us time and then the first one on the green removes the flag. This has never been a problem as one of us may hit the flag about once every three or four rounds.

This last Sat. after holing one chip out with the flag still in and then hitting the flag with three other chips, my partners said that we "needed to change that rule." Ha, ha

I felt like Tiger, they were trying to "Rob proof" our course. kind of flattering - thanks TGM
