How do you handle loads of accumulator lag?

More Sergio than Sergio...more early Hogan than Hogan...

This was taken on a practice round but he shot 77 in first round today.

Is it too much for anyone to handle on a regular basis?

Does he need "delagging" (accumulator lag)?
