Yoda,
What will be your approach to the 1,000’s of people who come to learn from you at the Barclays?
I think that walking up the isle dressed in Vestment and Hat holding the Little Yellow Book is fine for us, your congregation, (by the way, I think Gold and Red are your colors) but the general golfing public may not get the humor.
How do you explain to these 1,000’s that a nearly forty year old out of print book holds the “Secret to Golf”? After all, it does.
I would focus on drills. The Tree Imperatives. Hands-on for the audience. Set up some PVC pipes a foot above the floor, with a piece of tape wrapped around at the impact position. See if they can get there with a flat left wrist and take the hands, Clubshaft and Clubhead into impact. Explain the Three Dimensional Impact, Pivot lag. I would bring all of the toys. They’ll want to play with the launch monitor.
Remember, they’re there to have fun.
If all else fails, does Ted play the Organ? Gregorian Chants are nice. Ted can demonstrate the "X Pattern" Basic Putting Stroke.
Seriously. Good luck and have a great time.

Thanks for the boost, Daryl. Knowing that you and our many other friends are out there and supporting our efforts makes it all worthwhile.
Actually, while there definitely will be thousands of fans at the tournament -- it is one of the most prestigious events on the PGA TOUR -- we will be seeing far fewer in our Academy. As I write, the 'hard-walled' Academy is being constructed, and the only access will be through the main level of the Barclays Hospitality Pavilion off the 18th green. That credential will be available only to a select list of Barclays private clients, and not all of them will take advantage of the Academy.
So, to answer your question, our approach will be very personalized and 'hands on'. And while we will be flying only the colors of Barclays and Lynn Blake Golf, the principles of The Golfing Machine will serve as the foundation of all we do.

Come To the Barclays Classic - On LBG!
Well, it was a long day getting set up at the Barclays Classic. We're 80 percent 'go' now and will be ready to meet Barclay's sixty Pro-Am participants from noon to 3 p.m. tomorrow. Can't wait!
I've talked with the good folks at Barclays Capital, and we've arranged a limited number of complimentary daily passes to the Classic for friends of LBG. First come first served. The tournament is one of the premier stops on the PGA TOUR, watched by millions of television viewers worldwide. Its world-class field and the magnificent venue of Westchester Country Club in Harrison, New York, makes this a truly special event, one that we are very proud to be part of.
If you would like to attend this week's Barclays Classic, drop me a PM with your preferred day, and I'll do my best to make it happen. I have no way to judge demand on this, but we'll take it as far as we can.

Watching the Fish Float By
Well, it's a great day for golf at the Barclays Classic...if you're a fish!
Man, it's comin' down now. We're completing our setup work and watching the hardy souls playing in the Pro-Am trudge by us approaching the 18th green. Actually, 'float' by us might be a better word! But it's supposed to clear out sometime today. After all...
This IS a golf course!

Just back from Westchester CC. Great classic old style course. Hilly, narrow and small undulating greens. Lynn and Ted's tent was directly behind and connected to the Barclays hospitality tent. Saw Ted as he was leaving but couldn't get his attention(couldn't scream, we were right next to the 18th green ). Was standing not five feet from Yoda on the practice green as he was giving a lesson, but he was so involved in his teaching, he didn't even notice me .
Here's hoping Lynn and Ted were a big hit, and this becomes a yearly deal.
Thanks again for the tickets, Yoda!
