Question on single wrist action and snap release
Hi ya'll,
I have a 10-2 D grip and would like to use more of a snap release in my total motion. Is it still ok to use single wrist action to achieve a snap release? I know that 10-2 D grips can get more trigger delay for snap releases, but I wanted to make sure that if I used single wrist action that everything would comply. Thanks in advance for all the help.
Cheers,
LA Angels

Standard Wrist Action (Turn and Cock / Uncock and Roll / 10-18-A) is not possible with a Strong Double Action Grip (10-2-D). Why? Because, by definition, the Left Wrist has already been Turned (to Plane) in the Grip.
Hence, Standard Wrist Action and the Strong Double Action Grip are Incompatible Components (Chapter 13), and with or without a Snap Release (Component #24 / Variations D/E), you must use Single Wrist Action (Cock without Turn / Uncock without Roll / 10-18-C). Or, use Zero Wrist Action (10-18-G), and substitute Hinge Action (Component #10) for Wrist Action (Component #18 ) per 7-10 and 2-G.

Ditto. This should be in the Archives, Chapter 13. Great post.

Thanks Kevin and O.B. I appreciate your comments!
Regarding the Archives . . .
The 'Archived Posts' Forums contain only the posts I did in 2004, i.e., prior to founding LynnBlakeGolf.com. All posts since -- goodness knows how many thousands -- can be accessed by clicking on 'Yoda' (on any of my posts) to get to my User Profile and then clicking on the 'Find all posts by Yoda'. From there, more selectively, you can use the Search tool to research specific subjects.
