Congratulations to our own Head Professional Drew Chapman as he enters his twenty fifth year at Highland. Last night during the Rhode Island PGA Annual Spring Meeting at Wannamoisett Country Club, Drew received the prestigious Rhode Island PGA Teacher of the Year Award. This Award bestows special recognition on the PGA Professional who has performed outstanding service as a golf instructor.
The criteria used in determining the winner includes:
- Overall performance as a PGA Professional at his facility;
- Service to his PGA Section and Association;
- Leadership ability; Image and ability to inspire his fellow PGA Professionals; and
- Involvement and promotion in growing of the game of golf
- Techniques for Teaching.
