Eliminate the milk crate but definitely do the 12-5 Motions daily to build and maintain a geometrically sound Golf Stroke. The reason you're having trouble going all the way Down Plane is because you are Bending your Left Wrist and Flattening your Right Wrist through Impact. This is Steering (3-F-7-A) abetted by Quitting (3-F-7-B). Both of which are probably due to the mistaken conception -- conscious or subconscious -- that you should be swinging 'toward the Target' instead of On Plane -- Down and Out -- through Impact Point and Low Point.

From the Top, Drive that #3 Pressure Point in a Straight Line toward the Ball (or the alternate Aiming Point, if applicable). Don't be afraid to do this. Hit the Ball with your #3 Pressure Point! And, for Hitters, make that Hit with your Active Right Elbow. Per 1-L #9, the Club will still move in a Circle! Think of this Straight Line Motion as a Bungee Jump with your #3 Pressure Point. Don't 'bail out' at the Ball -- just keep driving it Down and allow the science of 1-L to 'save you!'

Sure, its scary. But what a ride! And what a rush! Not to mention...

What a shot!
