Golf is a tough game. However especially starting, you need to get an instructor which will help you. Ideally this will be a golfing machine instructor and there are none finer than Lynn here. However if fiancial or other reasons don't allow this, rather than go through a labyrinth without any kind of map I would then urge you to even see any instructor that has any success in your area. No teacher can really harm you - all you have is gains to make. If you are hitting it 75 yards with your all your irons, you have major problems in your stroke but don't despair about it. Beat it with persistance and dilligence.
