" Except for its being, in itself, the Weight Shift, the Hip Turn is a motion permitting - rather than causing - the other effects, actions, and motions of the Pivot. Weight Shift is strictly a HIP MOTION; Substituting a Head Motion and/or a Knee Motion will make Swaying inevitable." Does this beg the question: "Do you keep your body weight centered 'in' your hips throughout the stroke ? " When training the pivot, are the hips a good place to start, or focus ? Can proper hip turn and hip action help correct a pivot that is only superficially correct and prevent swaying? __________________ "Golf is not a subject but a motor skill which can only be learned and not taught." - Michael Hebron "The Body, Arms and Hands have specific assignments during the Golf Stroke, and they must be coordinated into one efficient motion." - Lynn Blake KnighT View Public Profile Send a private message to KnighT Find all posts by KnighT
